It all began in a Spoon Factory on Brammel Lane.
Def Leppard came from the dreams and aspirations of Joe Eliott (1960-1977) along with Rick (Sav) Savage(Bass), Steve Clark(Guitars), Pete Willis(Guitars), and Rick (The Thunder God) Allen. In July 18, 1978 they got their first big break as a band and began playing for teenaged audiences (mainly females). Shortly after the making of "High and Dry" Pete was forced out of the band due to massive drinking(according to Joe Elliott during a VH1 Behind the Scenes Interview) Pete was given the Spanish Archure "shrug of an arm". Pete was then later replaced by "Phil Collen" Who before hand played for a few local London bands, one of which ws called "Girl".

Here after 23 years and two heartbreaking tragedies later, Joe is still looking and performing as Great as ever.
